Heads up to all railfans!

UP 1996, the "Southern Pacific" heritage unit is back in service for the first time in 5 months, and is leading the westbound MEWWC-15. ETA into Tucson tonight is 22:50 (10:50 PM). It is running 3x2 as well, so no EOTD device to trace.

Good luck to all of you hoping to catch it, and happy hunting!

UP 1996 cleared Tucson at 9:46 PM, and I saw it just east of Casa Grande at MP 924 at 11:07 PM. It'll more than likely be a day run into SoCal, so good luck to y'all out there!

It makes me now wonder what it's next assignment will be after it gets to West Colton.
